Dr. Parrish earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches and his doctorate of medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.

Dr. Parrish is always very kind and hearing the x-rays show the knee is healing and that I was doing well. TKR is major surgery so I needed to hear he sees improvement and everything is normal. I especially appreciated his understanding when I told him I was afraid of using a cane as my PT person insisted on doing but "good" knee is unstable.. He said that I know best and to follow my instincts. I love that from a doctor, it shows actual empathy and respect for my concerns.
